McLoughlin Brothers, New York, 1906 combination game board
featuring crokinole, backgammon, and steeplechase. This item was a
very obvious copy of the popular Carrom Company “Flags of the
Nations” board that had appeared four years earlier (see Gallery item #
132). Several variations of the lithograph designs exist. Two
concentric circles for crokinole. The outer circle was called the # 2
‘field,’ while the inner (post surrounded) circle was called the # 1
‘field.’ 61 cm (24") square.
