Avon Manufacturing Company, Stratford, Ontario, c.1934. This 75 cm (29-1/2") simple crokinole board was one of the more rare models produced by this firm. The playing surface is a paper lithograph applique over plywood. Four-board construction of the deck was a deviation from the typical eight-piece construction seen in all other models made by this short-lived (1933-1935)–yet prolific–company.
