Hand-crafted, southern Ontario crokinole board, 1989. Solid osage
orange playing surface inlaid with black walnut; willow deck and ash
side rail/rim. Osage orange is the only citrus tree to grow in Canada.
Producing an inedible small fruit, the plant is more a large bush than a
tree. Beautiful orange, yellow, brown and black graining appear in
milled wood. 81 cm (32") diameter.
