| The History of Crokinole (Part One) details previously unpublished information about the background and history of the great game of crokinole. A brief examination of the history of games and gaming opens this booklet, followed by the historical development of the "type" of games that lead up to the arrival of crokinole through the 1850s and 1860s. Illustrations and photographs of some of the earliest crokinole game boards compliment this 20-page publication. This is the first of a 10-part series.
